Sashti Balasundaram Showcases Innovative Solutions at US Composting Council's COMPOST2024

Sashti Balasundaram, Founder & CEO of WeRadiate, a leading expert in composting technology, presented twice at the prestigious US Composting Council's COMPOST2024 conference in February. His presentations offered groundbreaking insights into composting technology and sustainability practices.

In his first session titled "Research Results of Compostable Packaging Piles Using Remote Monitoring Devices and Digital Data," Sashti explored how technology can optimize composting research on compostable packaging by using data sensors. He emphasized the role of solar panels in enhancing connectivity in remote areas. Attendees gained valuable insights into compostability techniques and the benefits of remote monitoring devices to minimize the need for manual data tracking. In his second session, "Elevating Efficiency with the Dual Temperature Sensor in Composting," Sashti engaged participants in discussions surrounding key challenges and preferences within the composting industry. He discussed motivations for composting and the features that compost operators seek in sensors, shedding light on industry trends and aspirations.

Sashti’s interactive style of presenting was enjoyed by all and stood out in the conference. "The insights Sashti presented based on the research they had conducted last year were thought-provoking and useful to us. I visited the WeRadiate booth at the conference after Sashti’s session. His team was great at explaining how they had implemented the insights in their company structure and technology.
